IFEM expert chambers

Your maritime expertise, recognised among your peers.

Engineers, lawyers, economists, operators: join the chamber of your profession across the French-speaking world. Your application takes a few minutes, IFEM decides on your admission, then Certifive builds your profile with you.

What your chamber brings you

  • 01

    Your peers

The practitioners of your sector, brought together by an institution that speaks for the whole French-speaking maritime world.

  • 02

    The life of the chamber

Meetings, round tables, IFEM training and the International Blue Economy Forum.

  • 03

    A verified profile

After an interview, Certifive builds your profile with you and states, item by item, what has been checked.

  • 04

    A recognised presence

If you wish, your chamber’s page presents you to the institutions and companies of the sector.

How it works

  1. 1You register and choose your chamber, online or on WhatsApp.
  2. 2IFEM reviews your admission and writes to you with its decision.
  3. 3Certifive offers you an interview and builds your profile with you.
  4. 4You decide what appears on the chamber’s page.

Membership of a chamber does not amount to certification.

Contact language

PDF or Word, 5 MB at most. It goes with your application for admission, which IFEM receives, and, if you accept the interview, is used to prepare it. It is never published.

IFEM receives your application with your contact details and CV, for admission and then the life of the chamber: meeting notices, information, and offers of its own training, events and services, never for the benefit of a third party. Certifive receives them too: it keeps the register for IFEM and, if you are admitted, offers you an interview to build your profile. The members’ list, contact details included, is reserved for IFEM, which never passes it on to a third party. Chamber information, including IFEM’s offers, reaches you by e-mail, in IFEM’s own name, with a link to stop receiving it; IFEM also respects this choice when it writes to you directly. This link does not stop messages about your membership: statutory meeting notices, the admission decision, the end of membership.

4

Your consents

Each consent is optional. You withdraw it in one step from your consents page. Without any consent, your application for admission is still forwarded.

Another consent will be requested when it is needed, when your profile is validated: showing your membership publicly, with the date your profile was validated.

Retention periods, including for an application that is not accepted, are set by the annex to the agreement. Transfers and rights: read the joint notice.
